We care about the environment

Bed bugs

Bed bugs are small parasitic insects that feed on blood.
They are very resistant to environmental conditions and their lifespan can exceed two years, while they can survive without food for up to a year.
They live in groups and can be found in crevices of floors, walls, furniture, in the seams and inside of mattresses, in wardrobes, sofas, in sockets and even behind wall hangings.
Bed bugs or their eggs are usually carried through luggage, clothing, furniture and other items carried by people traveling.
Since they feed on blood, the cleanliness of a space is not a determining factor in the presence of bed bugs. They can occur anywhere.
The most common species of bed bugs that are best adapted to the human environment belong to the genus Cimex.
There is no research to prove that bed bugs can become carriers of diseases harmful to humans.
They can, however, aggravate allergies and asthma.
Redness and itching appear at the site of a bed bug bite. Bed bug bites usually form a line.
The fight against bed bugs is carried out by universal spraying of an approved formulation in indoor and outdoor areas. The formulation is odorless, non-staining and safe for use with pets.
Necessary in the fight against bed bugs is the identification of their nest and the assessment of the extent of their spread and infestation, a fact which, although quite difficult, the staff of MYOKTONIKIS is properly trained and has the appropriate experience to implement it.
